Apple routinely releases new cellphone series in several years. The last series on the market is the iPhone 15 which has received a warm welcome from many Apple users.
In the near future, Apple will also release a new cellphone product entitled the iPhone 16. So when will the iPhone 16 be released on the market? Here’s the answer.
When will iPhone 16 be released?
Quoted from the Macrumor page, NANA4D 16 is expected to be released in September 2024. The iPhone 16 is expected to bring significant changes from various aspects, including changes to design and size. Several sources state that Apple will increase the size of the iPhone 16 Pro series to 6.3 inches and the size of the iPhone 16 Pro Max to 6.9 inches.
Apart from its size, this device will also have several changes, not least in terms of processor. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will likely use the A16 Bionic chip with claims of ‘performance tweaks’. Apart from that, the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro may also use a new chip, namely the A18 Bionic.
It is rumored that the iPhone 16 will work faster in low temperatures than its predecessor. This also responds to complaints that the iPhone 15 is too hot. The graphene heatsink is rumored to help reduce the heat of the iPhone engine.
In terms of the camera sector, the Pro Max variant of the iPhone 16 itself is rumored to be equipped with a super telephoto periscope camera. If this is realized, this new series will be the first Apple cellphone product in history to feature a ‘super zoom’ lens.
The ‘super’ or ‘ultra’ label on telephoto cameras is usually applied to iPhone 16 cameras which have a focal length above 300 mm. This spec has never been had on any iPhone series before.
Not only that, the large camera sensor on the iPhone 16 will provide increased quality in the dynamic range and background blur sectors of the iPhone camera.
With its large sensor and camera size, the iPhone 16 is able to provide good quality low light photos because it can capture more light with the same shutter speed and aperture.

The price set by Apple for the iPhone 16 is likely to be higher than the release price of the iPhone 15. Macrumor states that this is influenced by increasing production prices.
