Qualcomm Will Announce Snapdragon X Series on April 24, So a Threat to Intel and AMD Domination?
Morrissey Technology – Qualcomm is attracting a lot of attention with its Snapdragon The company based in San Diego, United States (US) has officially introduced the Snapdragon X Elite, with new details continuing to emerge. Apart from the Snapdragon X Elite, there are also rumors of a Snapdragon Now, Qualcomm has shared a short teaser video hinting at a big announcement for its Snapdragon X line of processors. A video posted on the official Snapdragon, Reported by Gizmochina, Qualcomm did not directly confirm the launch of the Snapdragon.
Adding weight to this speculation is the latest leak of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 which is rumored to be using the Snapdragon X Elite chip. Reportedly, Lenovo’s upcoming notebook could be the first to feature Qualcomm’s new SoC FOR4D.
The Snapdragon Testing shows that the chip outperforms Apple’s M3 chip by a significant margin on Geekbench. Surprisingly, on Geekbench, its performance is even equivalent to the Intel Core i7-13700HX, Core i9-13900H, and AMD’s latest flagship cellphone, namely the Ryzen 9 8945HS. If these numbers match actual performance, Qualcomm’s new SoC could provide serious competition to the established chipset industry players.
What’s more, Qualcomm recently showed off its Davinci Resolve video editing software prowess at a demo event. There are even rumors about Windows 11’s AI features possibly being exclusive to Snapdragon X Elite powered devices FOR4D. As the announcement date approaches, expect more images and information about Qualcomm’s vis for Snapdragon X in the coming days.
