Types of Files That Must be Deleted on an Android Cellphone so it Doesn’t Slow Down
Morrissey Technology – A slow Android phone could be due to the storage memory being too full. So it is recommended to delete some types of files to make space on the phone.
One solution for full memory is to subscribe to cloud storage. However, if this is not possible, you can delete several types of files as a solution.

Photo
One type of file that can be deleted is photos. Photo data stored on your cellphone will generally be backed up on Google Photos. Google itself provides 15 GB capacity for free which can be used for Google Photos and other Google services. If you do not back up to Google Photos, it is recommended that you perform an offline backup before deleting photo files.
Movies and music
Apart from photos, you can also delete movie and music files to make room on your cellphone. The reason is, film files are usually large and take up a lot of space. The era of over the top (OTT) platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, and others also means that users don’t have to bother downloading films, because they can be watched streaming. Likewise with music that can be listened to via platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Application
Some applications on Android phones support our daily activities, but there are also applications that are only used occasionally. Applications that are never or rarely used can be one of the types of files that we delete from our Android phones.

Cache
If you don’t want to delete the application, you can also delete the cache in the application. Cache itself is temporary data that allows us to open data in an application more quickly.
Miscellaneous data
Some data that is no longer used, such as download data, can be an option for deletion. Especially large data that takes up a lot of space. If you still need this data at any time, you can back it up first, either to cloud storage or to other storage such as a laptop and flash disk.
